正如大家已注意到的,这种训练原则就是倾向于将三种训练要素(密度、距离、强度)按一定的秩序合理地、科学地安排,而不是随便地将其混合起来。首先强调保证每周的训练次数,然后加长跑的距离(增大运动量),以提高耐力。当某阶段的训练计划已全部达到预期的指标且身体状况良好,则应提高训练的强度,为即将到来的比赛做好准备。到此阶段后,就应重点加强与比赛有关的专项训练。训练的密度、跑距和强度与比赛的关系着象一座金字塔一样:
