With the widespread use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the home, the health impact of pollution has drawn much attention. There are reports on the mutagenicity and lung toxicity of LPG in gas and membrane-collected extracts. However, LPG combustion products directly exert toxic effects on whole animals and are rarely reported at home and abroad.
