Author Lester Thurrow is currently Dean of the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and one of the most influential economists in the United States. The book analyzes the strength and weakness of the three parties in the economic war with Japan, Europe and the United States that immediately emerged after the Cold War ended.
