西南地区近代构造应力场的特征是决定该区近代地壳运动,断层作用和地震活动的首要因素。李坪等人〔1、2、3〕对该区的地壳运动特征和构造应力场已有过详细的叙述。并讨论了本区构造应力场与周围板块运动的关系。本文在模拟实验的基础上结合地质资料讨论川滇菱形断块的向南运动作为主要动力来源对西南地区地壳运动和地震活动的影响。
The characteristics of the modern tectonic stress field in southwest China are the primary factors that determine the modern crustal movement, fault function and seismic activity in this area. Li Ping et al. [1,2,3] have described in detail the crustal movement features and tectonic stress fields in this area. The relationship between the tectonic stress field and the movement of the surrounding plate is also discussed. Based on the simulation experiments and the geological data, this paper discusses the influence of the southward movement of the rhombic block in Sichuan, Yunnan and Yunnan on the crustal movement and seismicity in southwest China as the main power source.
