Objective To investigate the effect of different degrees of hypoxia on the vestibular spinal reflex in patients with OSAHS under different degrees of hypoxia and obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). Methods According to the different degree of hypoxia, 98 patients with OS-AHS were divided into 3 groups: 31 in mild group, 34 in moderate group, 33 in severe group and 30 in control group. PSG was performed in 33 patients Group OSAHS patients underwent continuous positive pressure ventilation (CPAP) PSG test before and after comparison. Results There was no significant difference in PSG parameters between mild group and control group (P> 0.05). There was significant difference between mild group and mild group (P <0.05) (P <0.01). The total area of the peripheral area and the path length of the patients with OSAHS 3 months after CPAP treatment were lower than those before treatment (P <0.05), and the sloshing speed was more significant (P <0.01) . Conclusions The vestibular spinal reflex function is decreased in patients with moderate and severe OSAHS. CPAP may help to improve the vestibular spinal reflex function in patients with OSAHS.
