公路路堤的稳定性主要取决于堤身填土性质和堤底的地基承载力。在路堤填土性质满足要求的情 况下,地基承载力小的,随路堤高度的增加易发生剪切破坏而失去稳定,造成路堤产生过大的沉降和差异沉降,导致公路路面出现断裂性破坏,降低了公路的使用寿命和使用效率,同时也增加了行车安全隐患和公路的养护费用。本文阐述丁公路路堤地基承载力的简易分析方法,为预防和控制因路堤填土过高而造成地基承载力不足,提供了一定的理论依据。
