设计了一款应用于GPON网络激光驱动器芯片的突发模式自动功率控制电路(BMAPC)。该BM-APC采用数字控制器,实现了突发无效期间功率控制环的状态保持;利用快速启动算法,提高了ONU初始化时激光器稳定输出功率的速度和精度;利用可配置带宽的慢速调整模式,解决了传输长串“0”或长串“1”时功率过度补偿的问题。提出的BM-APC在125 Mb/s~2.5Gb/s的突发模式激光驱动器芯片中实现,其仿真结果符合ITU-T GPON标准的规定。
A burst mode automatic power control circuit (BMAPC) is designed for GPON network laser driver chip. The BM-APC adopts a digital controller to realize the state keeping of the power control loop during the burst invalidity; the fast start algorithm is used to improve the speed and accuracy of the stable output power of the laser when the ONU is initialized; the slow adjustment mode with configurable bandwidth , To solve the transmission of long strings “0 ” or long string “1 ” when the power over-compensation problem. The proposed BM-APC is implemented in a burst-mode laser driver chip with 125 Mb / s ~ 2.5 Gb / s. The simulation results conform to the ITU-T GPON standard.
