Compared with 2011, the overall consumption figure in 2012 decreased by 5.88%. As for production, there has been a certain trend in previous years, that is, the strategic choice made by some manufacturing enterprises to relocate their production to European countries outside the scope of the European Solid Wood Flooring Industry Federation (FEP) has been reconfirmed. (See Chart 1) The total output of the FEP region fell by 4.7% to 68 266 133 m 2, while the European (FEP) countries + the European Solid Wood Flooring Industry Confederation (FEP) outside the EU) total production is estimated to exceed 75 million m 2. Poland and Belgium, all other countries remained stable. Regional consumption of the European Solid Wood Flooring Industry Federation (FEP) fell 5.88% to 88.509 million m 2, with a slight increase in the share of Austria, Germany and Belgium. The total production of each solid wood floor in 2012 is similar to that of 2010 and 2011, with a maximum of 78% for multiple layers, followed by 20% solid wood (including parquet) and 2% mosaics.
