以“3S”技术为核心的地球信息技术是水土保持监测发展的主要技术基础。利用RS、GPS技术可以为GIS系统提供动态的空间信息 ,建立和更新水土保持管理数据库 ,为水土保持监测工作奠定基础。GIS系统具备的空间查询和分析、演示、制图功能为水土流失状况分析、变化态势分析、水土保持项目效益评估等提供有力的支持。地球信息技术于水土保持监测中主要应用在水土流失普查、变更调查、水土流失动态分析和预测预报等工作 ,水土保持监测将朝着科学化、网络化、智能化的方向发展
Geo-information technology based on “3S” technology is the main technical basis for soil and water conservation monitoring and development. Using RS and GPS technology can provide dynamic spatial information for GIS system, establish and update soil and water conservation management database, and lay the foundation for water and soil conservation monitoring. Spatial query and analysis, demonstration and mapping functions of GIS system provide strong support for the analysis of soil and water loss conditions, the analysis of change situation and the benefit evaluation of soil and water conservation projects. Earth Information Technology is mainly used in soil and water conservation monitoring, general survey of soil and water loss, change investigation, dynamic analysis of soil and water loss and prediction and forecasting work. Monitoring of soil and water conservation will develop in a scientific, network and intelligent direction
