本文以大型零售企业的初始国际化时间为核心,提出了大型零售企业初始国际化的整体理论框架,并利用比例风险模型和欧洲、美国的相关数据进行了实证检验。结果显示,本国和目标国的经济条件、文化和地理差异,以及不同的国际化方式都会显著影响初始国际化的时间选择。根据实证结果,本文提出了对我国零售企业初始国际化决策的相关建议。
Based on the initial internationalization of large-scale retailers, this paper proposes a holistic theoretical framework for the initial internationalization of large-scale retail enterprises and conducts an empirical test using the proportional hazards model and data from Europe and the United States. The results show that the economic conditions, cultural and geographical differences between domestic and target countries, as well as different ways of internationalization, can significantly affect the timing of initial internationalization. According to the empirical results, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the initial international decision-making of China’s retail enterprises.
