各位代表、同志们:今天,中共云南省委、云南省人民政府在这里隆重召开云南省科学技术大会,贯彻落实全国科学技术大会、党的十四届五中全会和云南省第六次党代会的精神,全面动员和部署实施科教兴滇战略。这不仅是云南省科技界的一件大事,也是云南省各族人民的一件大事。值此大会召开之际,我代表国家科委向大会的召开表示热烈的祝贺,并通过你们向云南省科技界和全省各族人民表示亲切的问候和敬意。
Dear Delegates, Comrades: Today, the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government solemnly hold the Yunnan Science and Technology Conference here. They have implemented the National Science and Technology Conference, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 14th CPC Central Committee and the Sixth Party Congress of Yunnan Province We will fully mobilize and deploy the strategy of revitalizing Yunnan through science and education. This is not only a major event for science and technology circles in Yunnan Province, but also a major event for the people of all ethnic groups in Yunnan Province. On the occasion of this conference, on behalf of the State Science and Technology Commission, I hereby extend my warm congratulation to the convening of the conference and express my cordial greetings and tribute to the science and technology community in Yunnan Province and the people of all ethnic groups in Yunnan Province through you.
