In this method, the fracture toughness of the material can be found from the relevant curve by simply measuring the critical crack size from the fracture surface of the sample, and the test equipment and the testing technique for fracture toughness can be greatly simplified. The measured results correspond to the dynamic fracture toughness at a loading rate of 10 to 5 kg / mm to (3/2) / sec. The validity of the measured data of the small sample used was analyzed and the critical fracture toughness value was found to be within the range of a / W 0.36 ~ 0.6.
