本文首先介绍各种不同的类推概念,然后在此基础上,讨论其在语义演变中的地位。这里所说的语义演变,包括两方面:一、实词内部的词义演变,二、语法化中的语义演变。就实词内部的词义演变而言,类推的作用是非常有限的。在语法化中,类推是一个重要的机制;但类推是否也是语法演变的动因,则很难证实。对有的激进的语言学家而言,“类推”是人类基本的认知活动,是语言演变最重要的推进力,这个观点是值得怀疑的。 This article first introduces a variety of different analogy concepts, and then on this basis, discusses its status in the evolution of semantics. Semantic evolution here, including two aspects: First, the lexical evolution of the real words, second, the semantic evolution of grammaticalization. In terms of the internal meaning of words, the role of analogy is very limited. In grammaticalization, analogy is an important mechanism; but whether analogy is also the motivation for grammatical evolution is hard to confirm. For some radical linguists, “analogy” is the basic cognitive activity of mankind and is the most important driving force of language evolution. This view is doubtful.
