由于Ferrari本人并非工程师,他在车坛的成功与他的挚友Vittorio Jano甚有关系。Ferrari离开Fiat后,说服Jano与他一同加入Alfa,合作设计装嵌跑车及格林披治赛车,时为1923年。Ferrari和Alfa的关系,至1939年方告中断。第二年Ferrari即自行设计装嵌赛车,但不久就遇第二次世界大战。战后他重新组织规模不大的赛车设计制造厂,制造Ferrari赛车,终因参加法国利曼举行的24小时不停长途耐力赛,称霸车坛。
Since Ferrari was not an engineer himself, his success in the car field was closely related to his close friend, Vittorio Jano. Ferrari left Fiat and persuaded Jano to join Alfa in his co-design of the fitted sports car and the Green Olympics, in 1923. The relationship between Ferrari and Alfa was discontinued by 1939. The following year, Ferrari designed its own embedded racing car, but soon met World War II. After the war he reorganized the small-scale racing design and manufacturing plant to manufacture the Ferrari racing car and finally drove the car altar for participating in the 24-hour non-stop long-distance endurance race in Lehman, France.
