Some herbicides are widely used on many crops to selectively kill weeds. 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) is quite popular for controlling broadleaf weeds in cereals. However, 2,4-D has been found to be phytotoxic to the high-yield wheat variety HD2009. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to study the inheritance of 2,4-D tolerance in wheat.
