From the diplomats of the late Qing Dynasty, the remnants of the Republic of China until the Prime Minister of the puppet Manchukuo, Zheng Xiaoxu’s life politics and government were all closely linked with Japan. As a representative of the “Tongguang” school of poetry in the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China, Zheng Hsiu-huu’s poem writing in different historical periods embodies the feelings and cognitions of Japanese contempt, union, dependence and despair Evolutionary process. The root causes of the evolution contained in these poems are both a kind of emotion and expression of Zheng Hsiao-xu’s loyalty to the Qing court through poetry, and also a kind of reason for his cooperation with Japan after the September 18 Incident Interpretation.
