震积岩是反应沉积物沉积期区域构造活动的重要指标,其形态特征却不易与其他成因的沉积构造区分。为理清震积岩识别标志及所反映的地质意义,对国内外前人相关工作进行细致剖析、归纳。经综合分析认为由下至上发育的阶梯状小断层、液化卷曲变形、液化砂岩脉(墙)、砂球枕构造以及液化均一层是震积岩典型的沉积构造序列;震积岩的发育状况很大程度上能反映区域构造活动的强弱,尤其是能较好地反映同时期断裂活动的信息;同时,震积岩发育的活动断裂背景使其有着特殊的成岩、孔隙演化、烃类演化特征,因此震积岩有望成为有利的油气储集层。

At the same time, the active fault background of the seismites has special diagenesis, pore evolution and hydrocarbon evolution , So seismites are expected to become favorable oil and gas reservoirs.
