一、概况斐济位于太平洋西南部、美拉尼西亚东南部。地处澳大利亚到美州的主要海、空航空线上，全境由320多个大小岛屿组成，其中约100个岛屿有人居住。面积18200km2，其中维提岛面积达10400km2。人口52多万人，斐济人占41％，印度人占50％，还有欧州人的后裔、华裔与华侨等。1
I. Overview Fiji is located in the southwest Pacific Ocean, the southeast of Melanesia. Located in the main air and sea routes from Australia to the United States, the territory consists of more than 320 large and small islands, of which about 100 islands are inhabited. Area of 18200km2, where Viti Levu area of 10400km2. With a population of more than 520,000, Fijians 41%, Indians 50%, European descendents, Chinese and overseas Chinese. 1
