This article reports the early neurological symptoms of methylmercury poisoning in rats - tail rotation toxicology experiments. Ninety five Wistar rats were eaten with feed containing 20 ppm of methylmercury and 0.1 ppm of selenium, with uptake of food and water. Body weight was weighed weekly twice a day, and the number of deaths and neurological symptoms (gait disorders, balance, corrective reflexes, responses to striking, tail rotation, hindlimb crossover ...) were observed daily. Five to six weeks after the start of the experiment, all rats exhibited signs of caudal rotation 2 to 3 weeks prior to the weight loss and hindlimb cross-appearance. Typical tail rotation frequency is 4 ~ 6 laps / sec. Tail rotation direction: the trunk of the mouse clockwise along the long axis
