在都市上的戏院或是电影院里,我们常常看得到成年人带领着的孩子们。他们在戏剧或是电影开演的时候,总有几分钟是比成年人还觉得开心似的,可是不多久他们就不耐烦起来。如果音乐的节奏没有催得他们睡过去,他们就只得嚼着糖果来捱过在戏院里的时间了。这麽看来戏剧这一类活动的艺术似乎是跟孩子们没有缘分的罢。然而事实上决不是这样的。我们在小学校或是幼稚园里不见过小学生逢到什麽节期偶然举行的游艺会和学校剧,怎样的兴高彩烈麽?不见过他们对於音乐图书和游戏操,总是比旁的课目更有着兴味麽?就此可知孩子们对於艺术非但有着需要,而且较之成年人实在还需要得急切,只是因为理解力还薄弱的绿故,对於为成年人而设的娱乐,不能了解不能享受罢了。我们都市上的一切戏院,既然不能给
