文献信息产品是图书情报工作人民为开发文献信息资源、满足用户文献信息要求,经过创造性的思维劳动、编辑加工和印刷出版等活动而形成的劳动成果。文献信息部门应审时度势,深谋远虑,从文献信息市场和自身条件出发,制订有效的文献信息产品的开发策略。一、补缺策略。回避供过于求或供求平衡的文献信息产品的诱惑,把注意力放到努力发现文献信息市场的空缺上去,积极开发国家建设急需的短线缺门或社会急需而又供不应求的文献信息产品。二、创新策略。立足创新,不落俗套地走新路子、创
Literature and information products are the fruits of work produced by library and information workers for the purpose of developing documentary information resources, satisfying user’s documentation and information requirements, and creatively thinking and editing, processing, printing and publishing activities. Document information department should review the situation, foresight, from the literature and information market and its own conditions, to develop effective document information product development strategy. First, fill the gap strategy. Avoiding the lure of oversupply or balance of supply and demand of literature and information products, attention has been devoted to finding vacancies in the literature and information market and actively developing the literature and information products that are urgently needed by the nation to build short-term, short-term or socially urgent but in short supply. Second, innovation strategy. Based on innovation, unconventional to take a new path, create
