中国画是线条的艺术,线条不仅起着界定形象,表现物体的作用,它同时还无时无刻不表现作者的思想感情。线是作者的心声,是迹化了的意。线条的发展一方面循着强调个性的多样化方向发展,另一方面却沿着它自身的所谓“美感规律”前进。线条发展的这两个趋势都使得它在表现形式上更加至善至美,并最终以物化和量化的方法将其统一在类型化的描法和皴法中,从而走上了程式化之路。
Chinese painting is the art of lines, lines not only play a defined image, the role of the object, it also at all times also shows the author’s thoughts and feelings. Line is the author’s voice, is a trace of meaning. On the one hand, the development of lines follows the diversification of emphasis on individuality, and on the other hand advances along its own so-called “aesthetic law.” These two trends of line development make it more flawless in its manifestation, and eventually embarked on the path of stylization through the method of materialization and quantification unified in the typified description and method.
