The experiment showed that the bilirubin of leptospirosis jaundice animal was predominantly bound (50-80%), and the bilirubin content was highly significant difference between jaundice, non - jaundice and control group (P <0.01). SGPT between the three groups showed no significant difference (P> 0.05). The latter is consistent with the electron microscopy observations, suggesting no significant damage to liver cells. Although the hepatic cell membrane Na, K-ATPase (sodium pump) plays an important role in the production of bile, the activity of this enzyme has not been observed before or simultaneously with leptospirosis jaundice
