Hangzhou Yangyang Ecological Park adopts the new compensation foundation PE pipe as the foundation under the wooden trestle. Due to the excessive settlement caused by the construction on the deep West Lake dredging soft soil, it is a potential safety hazard. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct in-depth study on the new-type foundation construction period and post-construction settlement the study. In this paper, a revised Cambridge model is used to analyze the settlement change of the new foundation from the beginning of construction by using ABAQUS finite element analysis software. The results show that on the soft soil foundation, the PE pipe foundation exhibits a rigid foundation of variation distribution characteristics. The total settlement of the soil body within 2.0 years is 2.092m. After 30 years of trestle construction, there is an additional 1.6m of settlement. The difference with the foundation settlement is about 5.0cm, the overall settlement changes are within the acceptable range, little impact on the basic safety. The subsidence of soil and foundation increases with time. The initial distribution is basically linear. The velocity begins to decline after 5 years of trestle construction and tends to be stable afterwards. However, it takes quite a long time to stabilize the settlement.
