近些年来,气功不但在我国盛行,而且也受到国际上的重视。我国的气功与印度的“瑜珈“(Yoga)、欧美的“超觉静坐”(transcendental meditation,简称TM)、“生物回授”(biofeedback)、“放松训练”(relaxtion training)“坐禅”(zen)以及日本的“灵子术”、“岗田式静坐法”等相似。由于这些功法能够最大限度地调动人体自身的抗病能力,具有祛病延年的作用,而且容易学,少花钱,没有药物治疗的副作用,所以引起各国学者的极大兴趣,在欧美的一些著名学府如美国麻省理工学院、哈佛大学医学院、纽约州立大学、英国的伦敦大学等都建立了气功研究机构,对气功从多种学科角度进行了大量研究,本文仅仅综述医学领域的一些研究概况
