The Caribu massive sulphide ore deposit is located 30 kilometers west of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. Useful metals are copper, lead, zinc and silver. The ores discussed in this article demonstrate that the fine-grained mineralization in pyrite matrices has complicated the beneficiation process, with a minor secondary deposit (3..5% Cu, 2.6% Zn, 1.1% Pb and 59.6 g / t Ag) to produce crude copper concentrate. In addition, the purpose of the laboratory tests is to improve the beneficiation process for mined primary deposits (6.2% Zn, 2.9% pb, 0.3% Cu and 85.9 g / metric ton Ag). Semi-industrial flotation tests were conducted in mid-1981. Later, a self-abrasive and semi-self-abrasive semi-industrial research program was completed and the results of the two studies were listed.
