“老有所为”是一个实践问题。古今中外许多著名的科学家、文艺家、政治家以及普通老百姓,在进入老年期后仍有所作为,做出了不朽的业绩。随着世界人口老龄化的发展,联合国在1982年7月召开的“老龄问题世界大会”上,提出了“老年人参与社会发展”的问题。在这次世界大会前后筹备成立的中国老龄问题全国委员会,根据国情,首创了“老有所为”的术语。而且,在国务院国办发[1983]29号文件上,首次出现了“老有所为”的正式用语。几年来,由于我国人口老龄化的速度较快,老年群体的“能见度”提高,发挥老年人在
“Doing anything” is a matter of practice. Many famous ancient and modern Chinese scientists, writers and artists, politicians and ordinary people make still a difference after entering old age and have made immortal achievements. With the aging of the world’s population, the United Nations proposed the “participation of the elderly in social development” at the “World Assembly on Aging” in July 1982. The National Committee on Aging China, which was set up before and after the World Assembly, pioneered the term “old-fashioned” in light of national conditions. Moreover, for the first time in the document issued by State Council State Council [1983] No. 29, the official term of “old age” appeared. In recent years, due to the aging population in our country, the “visibility” of the elderly population has increased,
