幼儿园的常识教学如何进行?它与小学的常识教学有什么不同?在教学中怎样更有效地促进幼儿智能的开发?对于上述问题,我有以下几点想法。一、幼儿园的自然常识教学在于启蒙幼儿园的自然常识教学在于启蒙,重点是启迪幼儿的智慧,培养善观察、好提问和爱思考的习惯,而不是单纯的学习知识。不少伟人,在幼小时就对事物有了特殊的兴趣和观察的习惯,如达尔文逮虫子,瓦特观察壶盖跳动,爱迪生孵鸡蛋,牛顿制作耗子风车等等,正是这些幼小时萌发的好奇心和兴趣,使他们走上了探求科学奥秘的路。因此我认为幼儿园常识教学必须在激发幼儿好奇心,培养幼儿的兴趣,发展幼儿思维,丰富幼儿想象力方面下功夫。(一)引导幼儿活泼好动往往被事物的外形、色彩、动作及声音所吸引,不注意本质的特点。教师的责任就是引导幼儿“想看”、“去看”、“会看”,激发他们探索新的问题。例如孩子们到中山公园照哈哈镜,看到自身形象是扭曲的、多变的,滑稽可笑,并不思考它的原因,我就问:“为什么人会变样?”孩子们这才发现,镜子的面凹进去,把我们照成了长脑袋,镜子的面鼓出来,又把我们照成了小短腿。
