鉴定出在中国汉代（208Bc－220AD彩陶器上的一种人工生产的矿物──硅酸铜钡（BaCuSi_4O_(10)），并观察到这个矿物是属于我国战国（475-221BC）或汉代的八面棒的一个主要成分。这个人造矿物迄今还未作为古代中国颜料被报道过。
A man-made mineral called barium copper silicate (BaCuSi 4 O 10) was identified in the Han Dynasty of China (208Bc-220AD) and was observed to belong to the eight (875-221BC) or eight One of the main ingredients of the stick, this man-made mineral has not yet been reported as an ancient Chinese pigment.
