钻头是一种常用的切削刀具,它的种类很多,有平板钻头、直槽钻头、螺旋槽钻头(俗称麻花钻)、深孔钻头、及中心钻头等。这些钻头在我国早能大量制造,品质很好。材料仅限于高速纲,尚未见镶有硬质合金刀片者。本文因限於篇幅,故仅能就高速钢制螺旋槽钻头的设计理论详论之。麻花钻的应用 (1)钻孔后不再加工。钻成的孔,约与钻头的弧边直径相等。孔的精度为5级。 (2)钻孔后再锪孔(Fit)。为了产生锥坑,以容纳平头、圆头等有帽螺钉,故先钻孔后再用锥坑钻头,扩大成60°、80°的锥坑;有的则用柱坑钻头,扩大孔的一部分直径,以产生平底圆坑,而供容纳螺钉头之用。
