今年四月上旬,北京教育学院召开了一个关于恢复北京教学植物园的座谈会。出席会议的有汪振儒、郑作新、蔡旭、余树勋、王文采、郑光美等同志。与会同志认为:教学植物园是植物教学的大课堂,是植物学的露天实验室。建立教学植物园对培养人才、绿化祖国、改善环境等方面均有极重要的意义。自五十年代以来,我国不少地区建立了大、中型教学植物园,许多学校也曾建有大小不等的教学试验园地。但不幸的是,在十年动乱中大多遭到了破坏,有的园地甚至被征用,大大影响了生物学教学质量和人才培养。我们热切希望各级领导,特别是教学、科研的主管部门积极支持教学植物园的恢复和建设,让更多的教学植物园和生物试验园地如雨后春笋般地建立起来。为了使读者更多地了解建立植物园的意义和作用,本刊特约中国科学院植物研究所植物园余树勋同志撰写此文,以供参考。
In early April this year, Beijing Institute of Education held a symposium on the restoration of teaching botanical gardens in Beijing. Present at the meeting were Wang Zhenru, Zheng Zuoxin, Cai Xu, Yu Shuxun, Wang Wencai, Zheng Guangmei and other comrades. Participants commented: Teaching Botanical Garden is a large plant teaching, is a botany of outdoor laboratory. The establishment of a teaching botanical garden is of great importance in cultivating talents, afforestation of the motherland and improvement of the environment. Since the 1950s, large and medium-sized teaching botanical gardens have been set up in many areas of our country. Many schools have also set up teaching and experiment parks of varying sizes. Unfortunately, most of the disturbances of the decade have been vandalized, and some fields have even been expropriated, greatly affecting the quality of biology teaching and personnel training. We sincerely hope that leaders at all levels, especially teaching and research departments, will actively support the restoration and construction of teaching botanical gardens and allow more teaching botanical gardens and biological experimental parks to spring up. In order to make readers more aware of the significance and role of the establishment of botanical gardens, this article specializes in Comrade Yu Shuxun of the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences wrote this article for reference.
