The fiber optic line has good linearity and dynamic range up to 35MHz and can therefore be used to transmit and receive high resolution composite video signals from televisions, computer graphics and analog systems. These lines, provided by Meret, are known as the MDL270 / 280TV series and show a differential gain of less than 1.0%. Until now, fiber optic lines have not been fully used in three-color composite color video systems.
