11月18日,中央电视台2008年黄金资源广告招标在梅地亚中心举行,近200家国内外知名企业参与竞标并展开了激烈争夺。此次招标再次显现了其作为“我国经济发展风向标”的作用,反映出以下几个特点:一、热点行业抢眼,凸显产业结构升级。二、新客户、新品类踊跃投标,小产品力争做出大品牌。三、东部地区继续领跑,中西部企业迅速崛起,区域经济发展更加协调。四、国有企业展现实力,自主品牌进发活力。五、国际企业投放额大幅增长,对中国市场投入力度加大。本次招标遵循“广告总量要少、广告时长要短、广告品质要好”的原则,最终广告招标总额达80.2861亿元,在2007年67.9562亿元的高基数上净增12.3299亿元,增长率为18%,再创历史新高。
