一、支护改革历史背景和发展过程1964年前我局采煤工作面和采区巷道几乎全部采用木支护,坑木用量大,抗压强度低,安全状况不佳,生产效率低,严重制约了煤炭生产的发展。我局支护改革大体经历了三个发展阶段。1.支护改革的缓慢发展阶段。从1964~1977年,是摩擦式金属支柱在回采工作面推广、使用、发展的14年,同时也在巷道试验推广水泥预应力支架、梯形金属支架的阶段。直到1977年末仍有10个木支护工作面。企业坑木万吨耗高达114.3m~3,在全国统配煤矿居落后地位。
