1977年，我队在1976年开动一台56毫米口径钻机的基础上，增开了两台46毫米小口径金刚石钻机。为了取得经验，我们把两台钻机分别安排在一个硬、脆、碎、磨擦性大的岩层和另一个比较致密完整，磨擦性小的地层进行钻进，从三月中旬开钻到十月中旬停钻，共计完成了钻探工作量5082米，为年计划的110.5％。共使用了240个钻头，平均钻头进尺20.28米（其中有首钢产的处理品80个，占1/3）。我们对硬、脆、碎岩层钻进，初步摸索了一些经验。现介绍如下。
In 1977, my team started a 56mm caliber drilling rig in 1976 based on the addition of two 46mm small diameter diamond drilling rigs. In order to gain experience, we arranged two drilling rigs to be drilled respectively in a hard, brittle, crushed and frictional formation and in another relatively compact and less abrasive formation, drilling from mid-March to mid-October Stop drilling, a total of completed drilling work 5,082 meters, 110.5% of the annual plan.
