“面向观众,跟上时代,立足改革,振兴戏剧。”这是广西第二届剧展的方针。参加过跨年度举行的广西第二届剧展后,给我感受最深的,是他们的革新精神。观念的更新促进了创作,推动了艺术探索,具有时代意识和较高艺术质量的戏相当不少。看来,近年来戏剧上尚比较沉寂的广西,也开始活跃起来了,即将腾飞了。给我另一个深刻印象,是剧展组织方法上的革新。首先,不单纯为会演搞戏。所有参展剧目,都必须在各地演出过。剧展第一阶段分散举行,评委们分头到各地看戏。这就保证了获奖剧目都是经过一定演出实践考验的。其次,各类评奖都不由主管单位指令性地决定,而由各地市代表组成的评委会在充分评议的基础上打分,以去掉最高分和最低分后的平均值为准, “For the audience, keep up with the times, based on the reform, rejuvenation of the drama.” This is the second Guangxi opera show’s principle.
