由于石油价格高涨及电费大幅度提高,以液化天然气为主的城市煤气作燃料的工业炉,需要越来越大。东京煤气公司研制了有助于城市煤气工业炉,特别是锻造加热炉在高温使用时节能的新方法——炉压(排气)控制法。高温锻造加热炉,由炉门或台车与炉体的缝隙侵入冷空气,使热量损失较大。为防止这一有害侵入,过去曾在烟道内设置闸板机构,试图控制炉压。但是,能承受≥1000℃的排气高温,而且又能顺利动作的闸板,技术上非常困难,能长时间使用的很少。因此,该公司研制了能长时间有效动作的闸板控制技术,其设想和以往完全不同,研制了使用空气幕的炉压控制法(图1)。
Due to high oil prices and drastic increases in electricity bills, industrial furnaces using liquefied natural gas-dominated city gas as fuel need to be more and more large. Tokyo Gas Company has developed a new method of furnace pressure (exhaust gas) control that is helpful for the city gas industrial furnaces, especially the forging furnaces, to save energy at high temperature. High-temperature forging furnace, the door or the car and the gap between the body invaded the cold air, so that heat loss. In order to prevent this harmful invasion, in the past, a shutter mechanism was installed in the flue to try to control the furnace pressure. However, it is technically very difficult to withstand the high exhaust temperature of ≧ 1000 ° C and operate smoothly. Therefore, it is very difficult to use it for a long time. As a result, the company developed a gate control technology that can operate effectively over a long period of time. Its vision is completely different from that of the past. A furnace pressure control method using an air curtain has been developed (Figure 1).
