目前,在金刚石钻进中,钻头胎块脱落事故尚未能完全避免。胎块脱落后,若发现的早,还比较容易捞取。若发现不及时,将造成钻头的进一步崩落损坏,以致很难彻底捞净,这将给以后钻进造成更大的困难。分析胎块脱落的原因是多方面的。如下钻碰撞套管或孔底;钻进操作不注意产生严重挤夹;孔内不清洁;钻进坚硬裂隙地层;深孔倒立轴时没有悬吊钻具等。总之,这些都是外因,操作中应力求避免发生。从内因方面检查,主要是胎体与钢体的结合力(结合强度)不够而造成。例如,一些钻头正常使用仅一、二个回次就出现了胎体沿与钢体的结合面整个脱掉现象。这种情况出现虽不多,但也并不罕见。
