Reinforcement methods for rock masses This method involves drilling holes, injecting a cement solution into the holes, sealing the holes, and creating pressure in the holes. In order to increase labor productivity and the quality of rock mass reinforcement, the pores are pressurized with an expanding component that is contained within the bladder and placed in the bottom of the hole outside the boundary of the rock mass to be strengthened before the cement solution is injected. In this case, the volume of the expansive component should be increased by an amount equal to the fracture volume of the rock mass to be strengthened, and the volume of the bottom part of the hole outside the boundary of the reinforced rock mass is equal to the volume of the expansive component.
