Objective: To explore the prediction and influencing factors of psychological diseases of soldiers in islands. Methods: A total of 1455 soldiers were deployed in a random cluster in the island. Their military mental illness prediction scale was used to evaluate their mental health status. Compared with the Chinese army norm, the influencing factors were also analyzed. Results: The scores of mental illness predictors, mania, personality deviation, personality introversion, stressors, family history, past history and growth experience factor scores of soldiers stationed in islands were significantly higher than those of the Chinese army norm (P <0.01 ). The scores of mental illness symptom score, psychoticism, depression, personality deviation, mania and neurosis factor score of the island soldier high score group were significantly or very significantly higher than those of the island soldier low score group (P <0.05, P <0.01). The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that, except for the absence of mania and lack of social support (P> 0.05), the total score of psychological symptoms and scores of each factor in the island soldiers had a significant positive correlation with the various factors (P <0.01 ). The result of Logistic stepwise regression analysis showed that the total score of psychological symptoms was the regression equation of dependent variable (P <0.05, P <0.05). The regression equation of psychological distress, stress source, lack of social support, family history and past history, personality introversion, P <0.01). CONCLUSION: There is a certain degree of mental illness, poor psychological defense, stressors, lack of social support, family history and past history, personality introvertedness, growth experience and age in the island soldiers, which are the main factors affecting their psychological diseases.
