目的:比较盘尾丝虫病高流行地区和低流行地区的眼压分布状况。方法:用多级分组随机采样方法从2个盘尾丝虫病农村高流行地区选择调查对象,检查受试者眼球前后段,用Schiotz眼压计检查眼压(IOP)。对照组选自1个盘尾丝虫病低流行地区,并对其做相同的眼部检查。结果:共有360名来自盘尾丝虫病高流行地区的受试者接受检查,平均眼压为右眼18.1mmHg、左眼18.0mmHg。一个盘尾丝虫病低流行地区眼科门诊的100名非青光眼患者组成对照组,平均眼压为右眼21.8mmHg,左眼21.5mmHg。盘尾丝虫病高流行地区受试组的平均眼压比低流行地区对照组低3.5mmHg。结论:盘尾丝虫病有可能诱发睫状体轻微炎症反应,从而引起早期眼压降低。
Objective: To compare the distribution of intraocular pressure (IOP) in both endemic and endemic areas of Onchocerciasis. Methods: The subjects were selected from 2 high prevalence areas of onchocerciasis by multistage random sampling method. The subjects were examined before and after the eyeball. The intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured with Schiotz tonometer. The control group was selected from a low prevalence of onchocerciasis and the same eye examination was performed on it. RESULTS: A total of 360 subjects from a high prevalence area onchocerciasis were examined, with an average IOP of 18.1 mmHg for the right eye and 18.0 mmHg for the left eye. One non-glaucoma patient in the ophthalmology clinic at a low prevalence area onchocerciasis made up a control group with an average intraocular pressure of 21.8 mmHg for the right eye and 21.5 mmHg for the left eye. The average intraocular pressure of the test group in the endemic area of Onchocerciasis was 3.5 mmHg lower than that of the control group in the low endemic area. Conclusions: Onchocerciasis may induce mild inflammation of the ciliary body, causing a reduction of early intraocular pressure.
