“粤农晚桔”是系由广东省清远市飞来峡镇竹园村一沙糖桔园中的芽变枝条选育而成。2012年1月通过广东省农作物品种审定委员会新品种登记并定名。果实呈扁球形,果蒂部平,果顶平,稍凹,平均单果重39.9g,果形指数0.84。果皮薄,橙黄或橙色;果面较平滑,稍有凹凸,有光泽,易剥离;油胞多、凸,芳香。果心中空,直径0.8～1.1cm;瓤瓣9～11瓣,易分离,囊皮极薄,柔软。果肉橙色,细嫩,柔软,多汁,甜酸可口,风味浓,品质优良。果汁含可溶性固形物16.0%～16.9%,总酸0.61%～0.89%,总糖12.2%～13.9%,维生素C163mg/L;无核;果实可食率70%。
