The authors used male and female gametes of Plasmodium berghei to immunize BALB / c mice. The collection of amphoteric gametes is to place the blood of the infected mice under suitable temperature and air, and separate from the red blood cells after the gametes have appeared. Two parameters were used to evaluate whether the transmission in Anopheles stephensi was blocked: the mean infection probability of mosquitoes and the median of positive mosquito oocysts. The results showed that the infection rate of mosquitoes in bite immunized mice was lower than that in control group, and the number of oocysts in mosquitoes was also less.
