今天,威尼斯双年展对中国艺术界来说早已不再神秘,甚至中国自己已经有了据说可以与之抗衡的双年展。但是有几个人知道一部关于中国的纪录片曾经展映于1974年的威尼斯双年展,并且引起了轩然大波?其实,对于经历过“文革”的人来说,该电影的题目《中国》及其导演安东尼奥尼的名字应该不会陌生(之所以说对“电影题目”不陌生是因为当时没有几个人真正看过这部电影),因为伴随着当时对贝多芬、莫扎特等古典音乐大师的批判的,是对安东尼奥尼的电影的长达一个多月的从中央到地方媒体的口诛笔伐(两个大批判的时间都在1973至1974年间)。
