The CDKN2 gene is located on the human chromosome 9P21 ~ 22 region, studies have shown that it has a variety of malignant tumors with high frequency of deletion, mutation, methylation and rearrangement and other mutations. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common disease of elderly men whose etiology has not been elucidated. In order to investigate the relationship between the CD-KN2 gene and the biological behavior of BPH, we used SSCP technique
