目前我国小型锅炉(指蒸发量<20t/h,蒸汽压力P<25kg/cm~2约为250[Pa])普遍存在着出力不足,压力上不去,炉渣含碳量高,漏风、漏煤,烟气排放标准超标(含尘量>200mg/Nm~s,林格曼墨度>Ⅰ级)。排烟温度高和炉内传热效果差以及仪器仪表计量手段不齐全。因此小型锅炉热效率较低,节能的潜力较大。我国约有20万台小型锅炉,如KZL型快装纵置式链条炉,KZW型快装纵置式往复炉排,SZS型双锅筒纵置式往复炉排,WNL型卧式内
