嘉善县公安局金嘉派出所成立于1996年3月,是嘉善经济开发区内的治安派出所,全所共有民警13人,协警46人。近年来,该所主动将公安工作置于经济建设发展的大局中去考量,开拓创新、顽强拼搏,为维护辖区的社会政治稳定和良好的治安秩序,促进开发区经济的快速发展做出了突出贡献。该所先后荣获嘉兴市文明单位、“红旗党支部”等荣誉称号,荣立集体三等功一次;2006年被省厅授予“二级派出所”。
