一种含有福马林灭活的表达定居因子抗原（CFA／I、CFA／II）的全菌体和霍乱毒素 B亚单位（CTB）的原型产肠毒素性大肠杆菌（ETEC）口服菌苗，在20名瑞典成人志愿者中进行了安全性和免疫原性试验。用定量抑制酶联免疫吸附试验（ELISA）检测细菌的CFA含量。灭活的细菌仍然保留着50％～100％的CFA活性。
A prototypic enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) oral bacterin comprising a whole body of cholera toxin B subunit (CTB) that expresses a factor of fmalin-inactivation (CFA / I, CFA / II) Safety and immunogenicity trials were conducted among 20 Swedish adult volunteers. The CFA content of bacteria was measured by quantitative inhibition enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Inactivated bacteria still retain 50% to 100% of the CFA activity.
