桑叶为桑科落叶乔木桑树的叶子,我国大部分地区均有栽培,始载于《神农本草经》,药用历史悠久,其味苦、甘、性寒、归肺、肝经,历代中医文献对其功能多有记载,认为其具有疏散风热、清肺润燥、平肝明目、凉血的功能。现代研究发现桑叶营养丰富,含有人体所需的16种氨基酸,7种维生素,并且还含有锌、锰、钙、铁等微量元素。同时桑叶还含有甾体及三萜类
Mulberry leaves are the leaves of deciduous tree mulberry trees in the mulberry family. Most of the areas in China have been cultivated. They were first introduced in the Shennongboshi Classics. They have a long history of medicinal use. They are bitter, sweet, cold, lungs and liver.
