Ancient Greek poetry has its own salient features. This particularity is reflected not only in its artistic form but also in its philosophical content. According to the historical development timing of ancient Greek poetry and Platonic and Aristotle’s summary, ancient Greek poetry can basically be divided into three categories, namely: mixed type, narrative type and drama type. Blending poetry has both narrative and dramatic features. Its typical paradigm is epic. Narrative poetry is mainly used for narration and romance. Its representative forms include lyric poetry, hymn and hymn poems; drama poetry is mainly used on the stage Performance, generally divided into two tragedies and comedy. Each of these three types of poetry has its own artistic features, all of which are inextricably linked with the Greek way of tracing the city life and values in the traditional sense.
